     The world population will continue to grow, consumer expectations are set to boom, and supply chain complexity will also increasing worldwide. In this context, the manufacturing sector will need to become an innovative, demand-oriented industry.
Manufacturing has emerged as one of the high growth sectors in India. Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi had launched the Make in India’ program to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub and give global recognition to the Indian economy. The government aim's to achieve a 25 percent GDP share and 100 million new jobs in the sector by 2022.
   The world’s complexity and interconnectedness demand a new type of model and solutions for the industrial sector. The obliging solution for Manufacturing Industries is provided by Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Global management consulting company states that Robots have been making inroads on the factory floor, but humans still perform 72% of manufacturing tasks. The three biggest reasons for the robot surge, the report outlines are cost capability and the rise in demand for manufactured goods.
The cost of machinery has drastically declined to make robots cheaper than humans. The processing power of microchips, smarter networks and longer battery life has dramatically increased per-unit value of robots, and their costs have dropped 11% from 2011 to 2016.
     Report from Oxford Economics estimates that about 8.5% of the global manufacturing workforce stands to be replaced by robots, with about 14 million manufacturing jobs lost in China alone.
     Over the next decade, the U.S. is projected to lose more than 1.5 million jobs to automation.
The European Union will lose nearly 2 million jobs and South Korea will lose almost 800,000. Other countries around the world are expected to lose 3 million jobs to robots by 2030.
Robots are also quickly becoming more capable of improvements in technology. Artificial intelligence allows robots to learn and make informed decisions and carry out more sophisticated processes. The improvements have expanded robots' usefulness in areas beyond the automotive industry. It is well apparent that the future of Manufacturing, Automation industries are replaced by robots powered by Artificial intelligence.
