Is AI going to replace programmers?
Already it is been surveyed that many sectors will be soon replaced by ai like Transportation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Agriculture, Finance, Packaging and shipping, Customer services a.Most likely programmers also going to lose their job to an intelligent machine.
Artificial intelligence is going to be smarter than programmers and will provide advancement in technology. We eventually want to accept the reality that a machine can do things that humans cannot. Well, that doesn't sound good to the lives of many existing and future programmers. As of know many people at random jobs are clearing out and unhappy due to artificial intelligence and machine learning. A recent future of employment study predicts that nearly 50% of the jobs in the U.S. are likely to be automated by 2030.
The AI apps like Bayou, DeepCoder, and Commit Assistant are going to automate some tedious parts of coding.
COMMIT ASSISTANT
The Concordia university expert Abdel-Wahab hamou-Lhadj collaborates with technical Architec Mathieu Nayrolles At Ubisoft La Forge Research Lab in Montreal. It is developed to detect the bugs in software automatically by identifying patterns in past bugs to better intercept new bugs that might save significant debugging time and cost to software development teams.
BAYOU
The Rice University researchers created an application called BAYOU that uses deep learning to write code for programmers, It is a considerable improvement. "A developer can give Bayou a very small amount of information -- just a few keywords or prompts, and Bayou will try to read the programmer's mind and predict the program they want, It only works with java at the moment.
DEEP CODER
Deep code is also AI software developed to identify API, performance and most importantly it will alert users about the vulnerabilities in the code and it will act as an audit tool and review tool for developers and it also integrates the hosting platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket Server or GitLab
