Will 'Work-From-Home' remain same after lockdown?? set off new normal
World health organization and many developed countries like the united states, Russia, and India state that, controlling the pandemic by vaccinations is a delusion, social distancings is the only substantial way to control the spread. Many top multinational companies shifting their business plan to let their employees work from home permanently. Tech giant Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey's, Tobi Lutke CEO of Shopify(SHOP) officially announced they are going to continue the work from home even after the lockdown. Many sectors claiming that the practice of work from home tends to a huge loss of their revenue. But its a completely different story for Information Technology. Practicing work from home makes IT more productive, and less time computing. It reduces management cost and recruiters can hire the employees based on their skills not by the location. Even many companies grumbling work from home may cause the project to run out of time and interaction between employees and organization will decrease. But the Indian IT industry which purely depends on multi National Companies needs to adopt the changes but the changes take some time. Dawn Fay, senior district president for Robert Half, a recruitment and staffing company says “Working from home is more and more of a hot topic because of how tight the marketplace is",
Google, Microsoft, and startups like Zoom, slack free tools, which make employees resume their work even at home. A survey by Robert Half, nearly 77% of employees are willing to continue their jobs by work from home. Likewise social distancing triggers the companies to lay their employees to work from home. but it's a major blow to our economy and to the government. The huge mass of working people won't go to their official public transportation tends to a huge loss many employees two-wheelers and cars remain the same in their home, which makes again a big blow for crude oil-based industries after oil price war. Many hotels, restaurants, cab services, public transports, and many service-based sectors going to face a massive disaster in upcoming years.
